Drafting Motions to Reopen Immigration Court Proceedings
View the training via recorded WEBCAST on your device at a place and time convenient to you. You will be emailed access instructions by late-November when the webcast is ready to view.
Attendees of this Maryland Immigrant Legal Assistance Project (MILAP) training will leave with the ability to draft motions on behalf of the litigating attorneys to help immigrants reopen their court proceedings, focusing on asylum seekers in the state. This training is a great fit for attorneys with strong legal writing and drafting skills who want to assist immigrants in removal proceedings. Participating attorneys, licensed to practice law in any state, must commit to write at least one motion to reopen within 1 year of having taken the training.
Limited space is available for non-attorneys to participate – Contact Caitlin Goldblatt at email@example.com to confirm you can attend/view this training.
