PBRC collaborates with legal services organizations to design and deliver free trainings that recruit and prepare volunteers for pro bono service. These trainings are offered at no cost to participants, with the expectation that attendees commit to supporting your organization through defined volunteer opportunities.

What PBRC Provides

Full-Service Training Support

  • Registration management
  • Marketing and outreach (flyers, graphics, social media promotion)
  • Venue coordination or Zoom hosting
  • Training recording and on-demand access via PBRC’s Learning Portal
  • Distribution of materials (slides, handouts, resources)
  • Post-training evaluations and feedback reporting
  • Optional recruitment of subject-matter experts or instructors

Your Role as a Partner

Focus on the Substance and Opportunity Placement

  • Subject-matter expertise or identification of expert trainers
  • Training content and curriculum
  • Learning objectives
  • Marketing language
  • Volunteer opportunity design and availability
  • Post-training volunteer engagement and placement
  • Annual review of the training to ensure continued relevance
    • Outdated trainings will be removed from PBRC’s Learning Portal, with the option to update and relaunch the training or to discontinue it.
