Katie Davis, Director of PBRC's Courtroom Advocacy Project, was featured in The Baltimore Banner discussing the proposed legislation to accelerate the timeline for removing unauthorized tenants, specifically noting PBRC’s concerns for the ramifications this could have on Baltimore renters.
“We must be careful about the unintended consequences of legislation that could open the door to unconstitutional practices,” Davis said. “Families have a due process right to protect their home and their possessions.”
