Panelist, The Intersection between Criminal and Immigration Law

Adam N. Crandell is an immigration attorney and partner at Eldridge, Nachtman & Crandell, LLC in Baltimore.  He possesses more than 10 years of experience representing clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and with immigration benefit applications before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.  His specific practice areas include criminal-related immigration matters, removal defense and litigation, waivers, family-based petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, and asylum and related claims.  He also provides consultation services to criminal defense attorneys and their non-citizen clients with matters pending in the criminal courts of Maryland and has testified as an expert on the immigration consequences of criminal convictions in Maryland.  Mr. Crandell graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006, majoring in International Studies.  He earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2010.  With his law partners, Mr. Crandell co-hosts the weekly podcast series “Lawyers on the Rocks.”
