Since 2011, Bill O’Brien has served as Project Director for Creative Forces®: National Endowment for the Arts’ Military Healing Arts Network, a national initiative led by the National Endowment for the Arts to accelerate healing and promote wellness and resiliency for Service Members, veterans and families recovering from trauma. Previously, Bill served the National Endowment for the Arts as Deputy Chairman of Grants and Awards and as the Director of Theater and Musical. Bill produced the Tony-honored Deaf West Theatre Production of Big River and was an ensemble player on all seven seasons as Kenny (Marlee Matlin’s sign language interpreter) on NBC's The West Wing.
