Ms. McSherry is a Principal in the Firm of Kramon & Graham, P.A. Her practice is concentrated in commercial litigation and health care. For more than 40 years, she has litigated a variety of matters, many of them being health care related - medical negligence, credentialing or licensing matters. She has also handled professional liability claims involving various professions, claims against railroads, condemnation cases, and commercial disputes. Ms. McSherry was elected to the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2005. She is listed in Best Lawyers in America in the area of Commercial Litigation which named her as the 2020 Baltimore Mediation ‘Lawyer of the Year’, Benchmark Litigation as one of the Top 250 Women in Litigation in America, and Maryland Super Lawyers since 2007 as one of the State's top 50 attorneys and top 25 women attorneys. From 2010 through 2019 she was listed in that publication as one of the top ten attorneys.
Ms. McSherry graduated with honor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1974 and received the school's Distinguished Graduate Award in 2020. She has also received the Winnie Borden Pro Bono Leadership Award from Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service, the Arthur W. Machen Award from Maryland Legal Services Corporation, the Woman of the Year from My Sister's Place Women's Center, as well as The Daily Record, Icon Honor, Top 100 Women Circle of Excellence, Leadership in Law and Leadership in Law Lifetime Achievement Award. She currently Chairs the Board of the Maryland Legal Services Corporation and is President-Elect of the Maryland State Bar Association. Previously, she chaired the Maryland Bar Foundation Board, and has served on the boards of or in leadership roles in other professional and civic endeavors.
