Panelist, Using Day of Hearing Representation to provide Holistic Lawyering
Megan Lewis is a staff attorney at the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland (PBRC), where she currently represents tenants facing eviction in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Prior to joining PBRC, Megan served as an Assistant Public Defender in Baltimore City for 16 years. Megan spent the majority of her time at the Office of the Public Defender in the Felony Trial Division where she served as lead counsel in jury trials for serious felony cases. While at the Office of the Public Defender, she served as a mentor to newer attorneys, helped coordinate and mentor law clerks, and assisted with community engagement by organizing and participating in “know your rights” events. Megan is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and the Vermont Law School.
