The Bob Parsons Veterans Advocacy Clinic at the University of Baltimore School of Law
Sofia Dirie is a third-year law student at the University of Baltimore School of Law and a current student attorney in the Bob Parsons Veterans Advocacy Clinic. She began her veterans advocacy work in Professor Jessica Wherry’s Veterans Law course and later served as Professor Wherry’s research assistant, researching the federal Presumption of Regularity in discharge upgrade cases and drafting and submitting a discharge upgrade petition under her supervision. Beyond her veterans work, Sofia is active in a range of leadership and academic roles at UBalt Law, including service on SBA, teaching assistant positions for multiple courses, and moot court, where she was part of a regional and national award-winning team.
