This panel will explore advocacy outside of the courtroom and state legislature. This past year we have seen several hot button issues taken up by the rules committee. The Forms committee has been a source of referrals and interpret the law. Local legislative bodies make binding law. PHAs and other quasi legislative bodies make binding decisions for our clients. This panel will discuss how to advocate for our clients in these non traditional venues, and provide stories based upon experience with those committees and local legislative bodies.
