This panel will explore the use of consumer law statutes including the FDCA and their current interpretation on housing cases, and the ways in which those statutes could be further applied in the housing context. We will explore several current questions presented in this area including the fundamental question: "Are Residential Leases a consumer contract under various applications?" and "Who needs a debt collector License and when collecting rent?"
