Veterans Benefits 201 is for those that already have a basic understanding of the three pillars of VA Disability (in-service event, current condition, and nexus between the two), but are now looking for the next step - how to get claims moving. In this session, participants will learn how to identify potential disabilities, assemble the available records, gather other evidence, and file the claim. Participants will also learn the basics of analyzing decisions and some basic decision making frameworks on how to go about appealing. This class is for those who are seeking accreditation or who have just recently been accredited. Focus here will be on the practical aspects of representing Veterans, presented by an attorney who has been in the field for over 8 years.
