    This session will equip volunteers with the skills to conduct eligibility consultations for naturalization applicants. Participants will learn how to assess eligibility requirements, analyze criminal history, identify necessary documentation to support applications, and determine additional evidence that strengthens good moral character factors.

    Volunteers must agree to attend at least one naturalization clinic with Esperanza Center’s Immigration Legal Services in exchange for the training.

    This training, co-sponsored by Community Legal Services, Inc., (CLS) covers Landlord-Tenant statutes, cases, and practical advice to prepare lawyers to represent tenants in District Court landlord/tenant proceedings. Participants must agree to participate in two (2) landlord/tenant clinics or take two (2) cases (or 1 of each totaling 2 volunteer commitments) in either Prince George's, Anne Arundel, or Montgomery County.
