Kate Foster is an ordained Presbyterian minister and longtime Baltimore resident. After over 20 years serving in a variety of ministry contexts in the Presbyterian Church (USA), Kate pivoted to the nonprofit sector and now serves as the Mid-Atlantic Director of Trail Development for the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. In that role, she is working to create community-led and community-centered processes for developing multi-use, off-road trails in underinvested urban areas. Kate is an experienced teacher and community organizer and is an Associate Trainer with the Dialogue for Peaceful Change, a conflict transformation program based in Northern Ireland.
