Training Will Cover:
- Basics of mortgage lending and loan servicing
- Overview of the foreclosure process
- Representing homeowners at foreclosure mediation
- Loan modifications & other loss mitigation options
- Post-mediation options
Participating attorneys must agree to accept either two pro bono foreclosure cases; provide brief legal advice at two Foreclosure Solutions Workshops; or one of each within one year of the training.
Pro bono attorneys will receive malpractice insurance, case support, and access to a mentor.
