Panelist, Does Access to Justice include Access to Alternative Dispute Resolution?

Elliot G. Hicks has practiced law in Charleston for over forty years, taking well over one hundred jury trials to verdict in the state and federal courts in a very broad range of subjects. Elliot served as President of the West Virginia State Bar. He was honored as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and as a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. He maintains an “AV” ® rating with Martindale-Hubbell, and he is recognized in the publications, Best Lawyers in America®, and Super Lawyers®. In January 2019 Elliot was awarded the Governor’s Martin Luther King Living the Dream Award. In May 2021 Elliot was given the Justitia Officium Award, the highest honor bestowed by the WVU College of Law faculty.
