Ivy Finkenstadt is the Managing Attorney at Community Legal Services of Prince George’s County, where she oversees Family Law, Domestic Violence, Foreclosure Prevention, Wills, and Expungement programs. She joined CLS in March 2022. Previously Ms. Finkenstadt was a managing attorney at Legal Aid Justice Center in Virginia and a Prisoners’ Rights attorney with the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs in Washington, DC. Ms. Finkenstadt has also been a court-appointed appellate advocate on the DC Court of Appeals CJA panel. Ms. Finkenstadt was an Equal Justice Works fellow from 2002 to 2004, working on prisoner re-entry advocacy and litigation in Washington, D.C. Ms. Finkenstadt is a 2002 graduate of the Washington College of Law, American University and a member of the Maryland, DC, and Virginia bars.
