Panelist, The Future of LegalTech: How Black Lawyers are Revolutionizing the Industry

James Brinkley II, Esq., a Norfolk, VA native, is a scientist turned IP attorney turned 2x tech startup founder at IPGen and iLeepe. He practiced as an IP attorney at IBM for several years prior to parting ways with the tech conglomerate. IPGen democratizes intellectual property and innovation, and by 2030, anyone involved in any of the IP processes will be required to do so on IPGen’s multi-layered platform. iLeepe was founded with the vision of giving every adolescent on Earth the opportunity to successfully enter into adulthood, no matter their past or path. James has a mission in life to increase access in all communities and push innovation to new heights. He is inspired, daily, by his family. In his free time, James likes to play basketball, spend time with his sons, catch up on tv shows, and think of ways to uplift his community and have a positive impact on the world. He attended Virginia Tech, Norfolk State University, New York Law School, and The George Washington University Law School.
