Moderator, Law on the Frontlines: Libraries as Partners in Access to Justice

Joan M. Bellistri is the director of the Anne Arundel County Public Law Library in the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. Joan has a B.A. and M.L.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park. As a long-time court law librarian, she has worked to provide access to justice through access to legal information by curating legal information and special programs for the public. She instituted the weekly MVLS sponsored “Lawyer in the Library” program and has partnered with the Anne Arundel County Public Library to offer the program in two branches. The program is now offered remotely using Anne Arundel County Public Library Zoom rooms.
