A panel of speakers engaged in individual representation as well as systemic advocacy to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline will discuss current trends and new developments in student discipline. They will cover topics such as changes in the law and how schools are (or are not) implementing them; trends in student discipline, including the issues on-the-ground attorneys encounter most frequently; updates from the 2023 Maryland General Assembly session; and next steps in dismantling the pipeline.
