Colin Starger is a Professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law where he teaches a variety of courses including Criminal Law, Coding for Lawyers, Constitutional Law, and Jurisprudence. Starger is also the founder and director of UB’s Legal Data and Design Clinic (LDDC), in which students engage in “digital advocacy” by applying technology and principles of data and design to address real-world legal problems in the criminal legal system. A former computer programmer, Starger is also the principle of the software-driven Supreme Court Mapping Project and the co-convener of Baltimore Legal Hackers. Starger’s academic research focuses on Rhetoric, Constitutional Law, and Law and Technology.
