Reena Shah is the Executive Director of the Maryland Access to Justice Commission, where she is charged with building a strong and sustainable future for A2JC and implementing programs that increase access and quality of justice for all Marylanders. Reena earned a B.A. from The George Washington University; a M.P.A. from Princeton University; and a J.D. from University of Maryland Carey Law School. Reena is the Chair of the Access to Counsel in Evictions Task Force and was Vice-Chair of Attorney General Brian E. Frosh’s COVID-19 Access to Justice Task Force. As a long-time advocate of social justice and social change, Reena has been instrumental in adding Maryland public libraries as Access to Justice partners through her work with the Law on the Frontlines project.
