[KIND-Balt] Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (Proceedings in Circuit Court for Baltimore City), Adjustment of Status, and Removal Proceedings in Immigration Court

Amy is 17 and came to the U.S. from Guatemala to escape threats from narcotraffickers. Her mother did not seek proper prenatal care and Amy was very sick at birth. Her mother died when Amy was a baby and her father’s identity is unknown. Amy currently lives in Baltimore with her aunt. Amy is eligible for SIJS based on neglect by her mother and potentially also asylum. Amy’s aunt will need representation to obtain special findings required for Amy to file for SIJS relief through USCIS. Amy also needs representation before USCIS and the Baltimore Immigration Court.
