Help for Homeowners

Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland's Home Preservation Project assists homeowners in the areas of estate planning, mortgage foreclosure counseling, and tax sale prevention

Estate Planning and Deeds: We hold in-person clinics at which we draft prepare wills, financial powers of attorney, and advance medical directives for low-income homeowners in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.  In addition, we create life estate deeds to help pass your home outside of probate, and we can help heir homeowners obtain proper title to their homes.

Mortgage Foreclosure Counseling: We offer in-person and telephone consultations for homeowners anywhere in Maryland with delinquent mortgages who are at risk of foreclosure.

Tax Sale Prevention: If you are behind on your property taxes or have other property tax issues that put you at risk of tax sale, we hold in-person clinics and telephone consultations in March and April to provide homeowners in Baltimore City with information and advice.

We also host a website with information about tax sale in Baltimore City:
