Effective Advocacy at Administrative Hearings (MSBA CLE Course)

Venue

The Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) and Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland (PBRC) offer free and discounted slots for select MSBA Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Courses. Volunteer attorneys are eligible for one of three (3) free slots in exchange for accepting a pro bono case referral from a recognized pro bono legal services program. Staff legal services attorneys (e.g., public defenders, prosecutors, Legal Aid Bureau, Public Justice Center, House of Ruth, etc.) may also register for one of three (3) discounted slots offered at 50% off the regular course cost. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Volunteer Attorneys can apply for a free slot by completing the Pro Bono Attorney Registration Form (online) and the MSBA Order Form (Type-on PDF).
When completing the MSBA Order Form, please type in the FEE column “volunteer rate.”  Please submit the MSBA Order Form to PBRC by email or fax.  You will not be considered registered until you submit the Pro Bono Attorney Training Registration Form online and the MSBA Order Form to PBRC.

Staff Legal Services Attorneys can apply for a discounted slot by completing the MSBA Order Form
When completing the MSBA Order Form, please type in the FEE column “discounted rate.” Please submit the MSBA Order Form to PBRC by email or fax.  You will not be considered registered until you submit the MSBA Order Form to PBRC.

Please allow up to 5 business days for registration processing. If you are not contacted by the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, Inc. within five business days, please contact us in order to ensure receipt of your registration form.
