Please join us for a training on Trauma-Informed Lawyering led by Managing Attorneys at the Montgomery County Volunteer Lawyers Project. Attendees can sign up for our weekly Domestic Violence and Family Law clinic or learn more about how to represent a survivor of domestic violence in their final protective order, divorce, or custody hearing. Lunch will be provided. Maryland Bar membership not required!

After the training, attendees will be able to:

  • Better understand how to work with and support people who have experienced trauma in legal and other matters
  • Better understand how domestic violence impacts survivors in their relationship and its effect on certain legal matters
