Panelist, How To Prevent Family Separation and Keep Them Out of Court

LMSW, Amber Dortch is the social worker for the Better Together Early Advocacy Program. She has a passion for serving her community and has experience working with individuals affected by homelessness, mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence. As a University of Maryland Graduate, she considers herself a “Boots-to the Ground” social worker focusing on building rapport with her clients and community members especially those directly affected by the Child Welfare System. She brings a fresh perspective in person- centered interventions, and community networking whilst creating a safe space for her clients’ blossom.
