Catherine (“Cathy”) Bledsoe is an Assistant Attorney General in the Higher Education Division of the Maryland Office of Attorney General where she represents the public universities in Maryland in a broad range of trial and appellate matters in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on employment disputes and complex contract and tort matters. Before joining the Office of Attorney General, Cathy was a member in the litigation department of Gordon Feinblatt, LLC for many years. Cathy served as co-chair of the Civil Legal Aid Funding Committee of the Attorney General’s COVID-19 Access to Justice Task Force, and currently serves on the board of directors for the Maryland Legal Services Corporation. Cathy received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and an A.B. in English from Stanford University.
