2024 Partners for Justice Conference (2)

Erin Gable

Anne Arundel Community College, Legal Studies Institute

Panelist, Paralegals Are Partners for Justice!

Erin is the youngest of three children and the only daughter, credits her time at Florida Community College in Jacksonville as her first opportunity to truly excel academically. She gained confidence in herself there before transferring to a four-year university and going on to law school. She became the first female in her family to attend college and the first person in her family to obtain a graduate degree. It was this experience that made her so passionate about the role that community colleges can play in students' lives. She loves showing students how far their potential can take them.

After graduating from law school, Erin clerked in Anne Arundel Circuit Court for a judge who focused exclusively on family law matters. After her clerkship, she began her private practice in family law with Dalnekoff & Mason, P.A. She eventually left private practice to work for the Department of Family Administration with the Maryland Administrative Office of the Courts. After leaving the Administrative Office of the Courts in 2010, she started working for the Legal Studies Institute at AACC. She became interim director in 2017 before being selected as permanent director in 2018.

Erin is active in many professional organizations, including the Anne Arundel County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association, where she is a member of the Affordable Law and Paralegal task forces.
