John Rudikoff is a Visiting Clinical Professor of Law, teaching Startup Law, Interviewing & Counseling, Negotiations, and the Brooklyn Legal Incubator and Policy (BLIP) Clinic. In the upcoming semester, he will
also teach Law for Technology at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies.

As the principal of John Rudikoff Law PLLC, John provides corporate transactional legal services to businesses at all stages of development—from structuring and launching startups to advising mature entities on operations and growth strategies. Before founding his practice, John served as General Counsel and Director of Business Development at MASS Design Group, a globally recognized multidisciplinary design firm committed to advancing equity in the built environment.

John contributes his expertise as a board member of Terreform ONE (Open Network Ecology), a nonprofit architecture and urban design group promoting sustainable innovation in cities. He also serves as outside legal counsel for the American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA) New York and the Freelancers Union.

Earlier in his career, John spent five years as an Assistant District Attorney at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, where he established the Environmental Crimes Unit within the Rackets Division. In this role, he led complex investigations involving multiple agencies and prosecuted cases against corporations and individuals. His achievements include securing seven-figure settlements, overseeing environmental remediation efforts, and serving as lead attorney in numerous trials and grand jury proceedings.

John earned his Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where he was recognized with the Samuel Witte Prize for his scholarship in literature and the law, as well as the Jack Weprin Real Estate Prize for excellence across the real estate law curriculum.
