Panelist, Law on the Frontlines: Libraries as Partners in Access to Justice

Sarah Mullen obtained her MLIS at the University of Maryland in 2013. She is currently the Assistant Branch Manager at Eastport-Annapolis Neck Library, one of sixteen branches in Anne Arundel County Public Library. Sarah coordinates the Lawyer in the Library program with the Anne Arundel County Public Law Library. As a public librarian, Sarah sees firsthand the community need for legal assistance, the benefits of partnerships with local law libraries and legal organizations, and the usefulness of training for public librarians in legal terms and resources.
