Panelist, Fighting Blight Through Resolving Tangled Title Issues

Steven Kappen joined the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service in 2023 and serves as a Tangled Title Staff Attorney. In that role, he is responsible for removing barriers to clear title for clients all over the state by providing legal services, community outreach, and advocating for systemic change. He works on estate planning and estate administration issues for pro bono clients. Steven Kappen received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma.
