Equity after the Pandemic and Beyond

2024 Partners for Justice Conference (2)

Equity after the Pandemic and Beyond

Room 302: 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM

We've all learned a lot from working remotely, and we're still developing our "new normal." Beyond whether the pandemic is "over," whatever that means (different things for different people and organizations), we're also learning a lot about the future of office and work environments -- what employees need and want, what organizational needs look like, now and for much longer into the future. Join this conversation to discuss the very important equitable considerations that this new dynamic presents, share what your program/office is doing and planning, issues staff are raising, processes for agency and inclusion for all staff in decision-making, and learn about best practices for providing job satisfaction and productivity across job categories and quality service to clients and client communities. Our intention is not to focus on pandemic precautions and the past but rather to use the experience of the last 3 years as a jump-off to delve into issues of equity, racial and otherwise, for the future.
