This session will review the definition of terms such as microaggression and implicit bias followed by a deeper delve into learning how to navigate our day-to-day life around racial equity. Understanding that race heavily impacts the way in which people are perceived and treated, this program will discuss the relevance between witnessing racial inequity and processing and creating an appropriate course of action to address the situation. The panel will discuss what bystander intervention may look like and ways to respond to finding yourself on the receiving end of racial inequity.
