This panel will touch on best practices when representing individuals before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). It will also discuss key issues pertaining to removal defense work and how harnessing a community of advocates can help address these issues. The focus of the session will be on the universal representation movement and why provisioning free legal representation, particularly to individuals in ICE detention facilities, matters.
