The training will cover immigration benefits and defenses to deportation (asylum, special immigrant juvenile status, U visas, family petitions and more), best practices for interviewing, tips for working with an interpreter, and providing pro se assistance as a nonprofit volunteer.

Representing Asylum-Seekers: Model Hearing Edition
