Friday, June 17, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM | Room 207
There is a well-documented history of discrimination in the military. Veterans suffering from conditions related to racial or sexual discrimination in the military are eligible for VA benefits. However, claims for these benefits pose unique challenges for veterans, often because these veterans experience further discrimination in the claims adjudication process. This panel will explore discrimination in the military and discuss the challenges veterans face when filing claims for benefits based on discrimination.
