Presenter, Mentor Training 101: Veterans Mentoring Veterans in Veterans Treatment Court

Born and raised in the Baltimore area, Justin graduated from Loyola Blakefield High School in 2006. In 2008, he joined the U.S. Air Force as a Cyber Ops/Computer Communications Operator. After completing training in San Antonio, TX, and Biloxi, MS, he was assigned to the U.S. Strategic Command Headquarters (STRATCOM) at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, NE. In 2011, he was selected for a special duty assignment to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Washington, DC. Over his three years with the Intelligence Community, he served in a multitude of roles at the DIA Headquarters and the Pentagon.

Justin separated from the Air Force in 2014 to pursue a career in criminal justice. While studying at the University of Baltimore, he worked as Research Project Manager on a federally funded health and safety study. In 2017, he was hired by the United Way of Central Maryland as the Mentor Coordinator and Data Specialist for the Baltimore City Veterans Treatment Court.
