Discharge Upgrades in the Era of Liberal Consideration

A discussion of Manker v. Del Toro., Professor Wishnie will discuss the facts of Manker and its implications for veterans of the Navy and Marine Corps discharged between 2012 and 2021 with less than fully honorable discharges.  Other panelists will inform participants on the steps taken by the Navy/Marine Discharge Review Board (NMDRB) and the Board for Correction of Naval Records (BCNR) to implement the settlement, and know differences in the results to date.
