Veterans Treatment Courts (VTCs) are a relatively new innovation in Maryland’s criminal legal system, though these specialty courts have been in existence since 2008. This session will provide a brief overview of VTCs in Maryland and will complete the training requirement for veterans who are interested in becoming mentors in the Baltimore City Veterans Treatment Court.
